OUR OBJECTIVES IN AFGHANISTAN AND PAKISTAN ARE TO USE THE POWER OF SPORT AND EDUCATION AS A TOOL TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE SOCIAL ISSUES FACED BY MANY WOMEN AND GIRLS WITHIN SOCIETY.
The primary focus of our Girl Power workshops are centred around the importance of having a healthy lifestyle, and raising the awareness on the side effects of child marriages, from the impact on the life the individual as well as that on society.
In both countries, we work together with local female clubs and schools to support and enhance activities and participation of women across rural areas of the countries where we find fewer social activity opportunities for women and girls, through our Girl Power School initiative, which provides educational workshops, seminars and sport events across communities.
